
The owner Raad Hassan established Sands Restaurant more than 8 years ago. It was the first Lebanese Restaurant in Bristol and to this date is unrivalled for quality of food and service.
Since its opening Sands has gone from strength to strength wining many awards along the way. The key has always been consistency.
In 2003, Sands Restaurant welcomed Issam Al-Achkar to the team. He has a vast experience both in Lebanon and a major Lebanese restaurant in London. Issam is supported by His brother Wissam Al-Achkar (who was himself a head chef in another restaurant Owned by Sands Proprietor) and Mehdi Hashim (Grill Chef).
The manager Hasan Tigoglu joined the operation in 2006 after 7 years managing a restaurant in Bath. He is very dynamic and pride himself on great organisational skill and attentive service. Hasan has built himself a very capable team and is always looking for new ideas to take Sands forward.
